28. Purple Prose

Wikipedia told me purple prose is overly flowery writing detrimental to the text. I thought I'd represent that with  visual art by having a simple childlike drawing of a flower and then fill it with details, to show that no matter how much I spruce it up the basic shape of the flower would still be naive, but my plan failed since it ended up looking rather funky.

This one was quite spontaneous, as many of the later ones were, but I seem to have discovered a comfortable zone in my doodlework that I enjoy doing.

This is a small acrylic painting that I upped the contras on in photoshop, to give it a more modern horror feel with all it's grey static high contrast creepyness. Modern horror films have replaced lightning strikes with static tv's I think.
